I did this review a month or so ago. The 12M Griffin is a great kite, extremely well made, and could be a complete one quiver kite as it has a wide wind range. I still prefer my 9M Waroo 06 in the waves- it turns quicker and has more feel in the depower , but it needs to be 25-30 knots for my weight on a TT. The Griffin has amazing upwind performance and power (it's high aspect) and would probably be very hard to beat for freestyle. It's almost got too much power for waves, has way more grunt than my 06 14M Waroo (anyone want to buy it?) The bar can be set up for pulley or no pulley- it turns slower with pulleys, and has high bar pressure. Without pulleys it's a long reach to depower it in strong winds, but it has a light feel that's a pleasure to use.
I wish I was a better rider-I could probably get a lot more out of it.
