Hi all,

I was offered a OEM ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Original_equipment_manufacturer ) kite... it is a bow kite prototype .... does not have any graphics or logo, but the construction looks good, like any other kite, but no logo.

The price is unbeatable and I am leaning towards buying it.

Has anyone had a similar experience witrh OEM kites?

cheers

Hi,

I have flown the kite twice in the last few days... and it flies good!! There's nothing wrong, except the fact that it is errr... hmmm UGLY!

When I say cheap, I mean $900 ... 12m bow kite + bar/lines + bag and had never flown before.

Time will tell .... I'm buying..

cheers

reckon youd be better off going for something like a 2006 Turbo diesel. some going new at great prices around $1000-1200 and at least you know it works/good brand and has resale value but if you want to risk it for a couple hundred bucks, good luck!!!!
