ok so my interests in kiteboarding are learning towards the wakestyle tricks...
but im really only just starting to learn these moves
im looking at getting a couple of new kites and have a few in mind.
so im looking for something stable with plenty of pop

im thinking possibly the 12m and 9m Liquid force MIGs
or the 13m and 9m F-one tribals

can anyone help me out a little in making up my mind....im open to ideas as well

cheers

07 vegas 12 and 9 should be perfect for wake style also torch 3 looks pretty good the 06 vegas was perfect for wake style so the 07 should be even better.

The 06 F-one Impact.
Torch 3, or 07 Tribal.

The Torch3 is real good but the Impact just has that something.

PM Dachopper, he has experience with both Impact and 07 Tribal in wakestyle.

for some serious grunt for kite low pop, look at a Matrix, or Vegas.

The Vegas looks good and flies well but they are a pain to relaunch, same goes for the Rebel!

Best kite for wakestyle has to be the Switchblade 2. Dre can't be wrong.... Loads of pop, 100% depower and NO PULLEYS!

Mate!! you might as well hangout a few more weeks for the Fusion 2 from Flexifoil.

It is the kite of choice of the THREE times WORLD CHAMPION Aaron Hadlow. It will be hitting our shores at the end of November.

If you want to do wakestyle do it on a Fusion!!

If you are after a cheap kite check out Kitepower as they have some of this years Fusions in stock at bargin prices.

SB2 12, 10 and 8 are all great kites. They like to be powered up so if its a choice between 10 and 8 I'd go for the 10m.

Karve,

Good point about the Fusion, when I was in Egypt with Aaron he was riding the Fusion with a few non standard modifications to the bar. THey are good for freestyle but if you're learning wakestyle then its not the most ideal kite to use, basically it will punish you. Aaron took a beating when he was learning Mobe 7s!

I agree with you to a certain extent. Learning powered moves and missing them is going to punish you pretty much irrespective of which C kite you are using.

Unless you decide on a flat / hybrid / SLE / Bow or whatever you want to call them kite which has a large range of depower when flown on the front lines.

The Flexifoil Atom behaves really well unhooked and has really progressive power when looping. It has the benefit of a rapid depower via the mini fifth line system and easy relaunch, giving you more time to practice your moves.

Both the Atom and Fusion 2 have had performance guidance by Aaron so they do work!

got 14m F-one Rival couple of weeks back!
found really grunty and not to light on the bar so no turing it accidently during rolls.
im impressed.
