Are you for real?
The Rebel flies heaps better and turns on a dime - by far the best wave riding kite ive ever flown, in fact the best kite period! Trust me, ive flown pretty much all the '07 kites on the market.

Yeah - for real!
I tried a 12m, a few times on different settings and it was woeful - maybe a lemon or something majorly wrong with the setup but it looked fine?

Must be something wrong there. Down here on the Goldy they are everywhere-ive heard that they are already norths best selling kite ever. Everyone that tries my kite goes out and buys one!!

That's because they either:

A) Don't know any better
B) Don't have a waroo on hand to compare it too
C) Feel initimidated by the local retailers and/or teamriders.

And, being the Gold Coast, I would say "C" most probably!

But, I will try and get a go another 12 and or 14 to see if the one
I tried was a lemon.
Anyone can make a good 7 or 9 m kite. The true test of a good model is in the 12m+ sizes.

Are you saying that the people down here:
A) Don't know any better
B) Don't have a waroo on hand to compare it too
C) Feel initimidated by the local retailers and/or teamriders

I think you are underestamating the inteligence of the average kiter.
Waroos are currently being demo'd left right and centre down here but everyone is buying the Rebels.Im not slagging the Waroos- they are OK, but the Rebel is exceptional. Of the three shops down here, only one could be called intimadating and they dont sell North!!!
Ps I have no vested interest in all of this, its my honest opinion.

Next time I'm down there I'll tell you my honest opinion if we ever catch up sometime - maybe we can swap kites for a session and both be surprised!

I agree with you winddude.

The Rebel is a fantastic kite, I tried a 12mtr and ordered
one straight away. It arrived on wednesday and I am a very
happy kiter.
Got a black and pink 12mtr, looks great in the sky.

I would like to here how you think i initimidate people in to buying rebels, since i am the only sponsered north team rider on the gold coast i guess you are talking about me.
The rebel slow turning ha get real don't bag out some thing you know nothing about if you want to pimp best thats fine we all know you are a best man i'm pretty sure you have a nuff to worrie about with some doggy stitching and how to sell your best kite a year later.

Wasn't actually pointing the finger at you paul, guess that's why you didn't respond to my 'gidday' at the beach yesterday.

If you have a personal grievance send me a email. I'm sending you one to have a read.

Hey Kurt, are you the guy that sold me a Naish 16m kite a few years ago. If so, I remember you having problems with a North kite at wellos.

Happy days.
