how much am I loving this board...it is a great little board. I tried the naish fish and for me felt it was too wide and too loose in the tail. I know it is supposed to be this, but from a surfing background applied to kitesurfing, felt that it felt like a windsurfer, and not a surfboard.

... I liked the rocketfish much more. I liked that it had a tail that could be engaged at speed to reduce the bounce in the nose, or if the wind drops, I could walk the back foot up, and use all the float that 5'10 "offers. jumping was fun and easy, upwind great.

it is ok to gybe, but will need some wax between the pads to stop a few slips, untill I get better with the transitions.

It is light and looks really sturdy, the straps are smallish, which makes getting into them a little tight.

I have only used it twice now- once in 12 knots with a 16 sb2, and at 17 knots with same sb2(87 kg rider) and am loving it. I thought about getting a larger board (6'2"), but given the way they bounce around when the wind gets up , it would probably not get used much.

It seems to be a great mid to light wind shape for a surfboard feel without being bouncey, and still being able to edge a rail effectively.
will post again after i take it out in 20+knots
