Just giving you the heads up that the Adelaide Airport wind reading is all wrong.... Today it was showing yellow arrows form the SE at around 3pm which means 12 to 18 knots.... We I can tell you that it was blowing SW 20 to 25 as I was on my 9m on short lines. Crocker and Jet Star came for a session and were on 9m and 7m respectfully.

Moral of the story is.... Don't waste your time looking at BOM or seabreeze, if it's sunny in the high 20s with an incoming tide, 99% of the time it'll be on! Enjoy

I have noticed the same thing but i normally use the Outer Harbour / Black Pole reading as it seems to be closer to the truth. What alternative sites or phone applications are people using to get an accurate reading these days?

That could work but when you live 30kms from the ocean like me the conditions vary a fair bit.... An internet weather station at Largs, Chicken Shop and Seacliff would work a treat.

For Brighton area try this- 0400099263
sometimes, it does not seem to work very well, or ring the sea rescue sqadron at Nth glenelg.

I have found after too many times rocking up to weird wind that generally a combination of Outer Harbour and AA has given me the best indication, particularly when heading to the Northern beaches.

Past few days have been blowing so nicely but have been working, keeeeeen for tomorrow's day off! Full seabreeze session awaits

ps. for anyone on holidays thinking of riding tomorrow PM me!
