Any good beaches for learning near Victor?
Am just getting up in the board and not ready for the waves of Middleton...
No 4WD for beach access either.

Just watch that bottom corner at Kent reserve mate. In my experience it's deep, weedy, and the wind just disappears. As long as you're East of that corner, you're laughing.
I actually first got up at Middleton in the shallows there because, between waves, it's actually really flat if you get a day with a good breeze but not massive swell. Just watch the kiddies paddling around is all.
You got some mates to go out with? Always a good idea, safety wise, but also just for a bit of moral support. Ya know, stoke the fire between mates.

The Murray Mouth is another real flat location. Gets a bit tight once there are a few kites on the water but is super shallow and flat so might be worth checking out, but agree with Doolz Milang is a prime spot to learn.

Thanks for all the advice and tips.
I was just down for the weekend and sadly wasn't able to head out this time despite the great breeze on Sun arvo.
I look forward to checking out a couple of the spots next time.
I usually head out near the chicken shop in Adelaide where I have had plenty of advice and no doubt provided a few laughs to other kiters. People's willingness to help out a newbie has been great!
