Over easter I went to Coffin Bay, 40km from Port Lincoln. The place was AMAZING for kiting. Huge open bay with beaches all round, Shallow crystal clear water, thigh deep in most places, fish dolphins. Wind! just spectacular.
Am I the first to ride this spot ??? It is to good for me to have been the only one.
Anyone else out there hit this spot ?

PS.. we hit Farmers beach, Long nose point and Black springs, down wind all the way, about 15 km ride. Then pached up at long nose and speed boat back. The ride from Farmers to Long nose was a bit spooky, open water, lots of fisherman out, deep black water, think it was 3-4km across.
keeping well up wind of the oyster farms.

Not sure if you worry about this kind of thing but there have been several large (and different) whites seen in Coffins this year (yes the last 3 months), plus many bronzies.
But thats only if you worry about that kind of thing...
