Totally agree. I've done dozens of downwinders along the Adelaide coastline, and no two were the same. Different tides, chop, swell, wind, temperature all make each one unique.
We also need a new term for when you kite right around an island, like Troubridge last week... any ideas? Roundwinder?
Around Troubridge? was that by yourself? How did you get there?
Call it what you like but "awsome" would be good enough for me.
Would like that one myself.
Just wandering what is the longest downwinders people have done. Mine was a solo 25km run.
