Yep.....should take a couple of hours. It'd be ideal to catch it as the tides starts to cover the sandbar leaving that sweet flat Gutter running all the way to Largs
count me in where are we meeting. Never done a downwinder how do we all get back,i have a ute to shuttle all our gear back but would need a lift to largs and back before we start if that helps
I think you mean meet in the car park just north of the Largs Bay Sailing Club.
The council doesn't want kitesurfers using Semaphore Beach to land. (And if you're doing a downwinder to Largs Bay, its a long walk back to the Palais)

I was wondering what the Semaphore council's thaughts were on Kitesurfing. (Is that the Port Adelaide Council?) You are allowed to kite past there though right?
