GSC is a great place to kite. They have a bar, showers, and all the facilities and virtually no one sails there anymore- so there desperate for members.
If there was a sailing club looking to take on kiters I reckon this would be the one.
p.s. Did I mention that they have a bar?

Guys this is already underway. GSC have already offered this sort of support to my brother for the kite community a while back, we both practically grew up down there. The SAKSA committee are keen so we are now going to negotiate with GSC. Will keep u posted on developments.

I kite pretty regularly at the GSC spot purely down to convenience as i only live a few streets back.

A couple of the old boys at the club have mentioned that kiters would be more than welcome to use their facilities. I can't remember what the membership costs were, but i think it was pretty cheap.

I really should make the effort to pop in for a cold one, as i wouldn't mind having a taster at a bit of sailing.
