There is a monsoon coming. :)
Got out yesterday and Today. Lots of little flat water spots cause the tides are so damn big.
Might be a cyclone in the next fortnight.

A mate and I surfed at Nightcliff once on the edge of a cyclone - you could ride the wave along the point, then paddle in and walk back to the start.
Only when the tide / storm surge went out the next day did we see the row of star pickets that is normally high and dry - could have been nasty.
