Does anyones kite bag come with straps for carrying your board?

Mine didnt. But does now. When you look at it we can at times have quite a bit of gear to lug down to our fav spots, and if tryign to find new ones, or going through the airport this can get hectic. Through in a couple of kids and your in trouble...

So i decided to try to make my treck to the beach a bit easier by creating some board straps for my kite bag . Basically I (my neighbour who is pretty handy this the overlocker...) attached a heavy duty strap and 'fast-ex' clips to the top and base of the bag. The strap runs around the back of the bag and is sewn into the load carring points on the bag. To attach the board the straps go through the foot straps on my board and the clips fasten on top of the pads.

Now the only thing that I have to carry is my harness (but often put in base of kite bag) leaving me free to stroll to the beach in comfort, or chase the loose grubletts.

If there is any interest I'll post some pics of how it looks.

Good winds, see ya at Milang!!!

Every kite bag I have seen has come with a way to attach a board to the bag, as well as pump, bar and harness if you think about it.

Maybe the kite companies are trying to save cash by not adding them now!

Slingshot bags have boardstraps on them, as well as straps for the pump and bar. They also come with a pocket for a camel back pack water bag thing.
You can always wrap your harness around the board before you strap it on then both your hands are free.
