we're heading over West in a few weeks to go camping for a while..

can anyone point me in the right direction for some flat water and maybe some waves between say pt lincoln and Ceduna, where I won't be thinking about great whites when bodydragging to my board!

And yes, I know thats a massive stretch of coast, just wondering if theres any sweet spots we should try to check out.

Stop at Whyalla and meet the locals, good crew, then head South to around Coffin Bay, excellent flat water kiting at Little Douglas and Farm Beach, head North to Sheringa for a wave kite, then head to Walkers Rocks, just North of Elliston for one of the best beaches in Australia, with miles of white sand, sandunes and excellent waves off the reef, can also be good for flat water in the right wind. Need a 4WD to get to the best spots if you don't like long walks. A bit further North is Venus Bay which is good if you can get a boat to take you out into the middle of the bay where the big sand isalnd is. Haven't looked between there and Ceduna, yet.
