Can anyone tell me if kiting is now allowed at the West beach Surf Club?
Noticed 2 guys having a great time there yesterday lunch time. One Red Ocean Rodeo and a Yellow & Black Rev.

Kiting is not allowed at West Beach- The permit has been extended somewhat on the southern side of the Torrens outlet, but not that far. Check www.saksa.com.au for more details....
Edit- the bulletin regarding the CASA permitted extension is now on the second page, we are allowed up to but no further than the Henley Sailing Club

We started a downwinder from the Sailing Club yesterday around lunchtime - didn't notice anyone kiting to the south of us then.

No wonder I didn't see them - I was still defrosting my freezer ... I mean, cooking a big steak on the BBQ, yea thats right.

Got some good video of Jordan and Andy - You, Linc and Cat need to get closer - I keep the zoom on wide angle to minimise shaking. Its hard to keep the camera still with head high waves and 13m of kite in 28 knots (not complaining:).
And Matt was having too much fun staying upwind - I got sick of waiting for him to come past!
