Hey there, was wondering if anyone had been to Marsa Alam (Egypt) during April and May. I am being sent there for work (lucky me) and will only be allowed to take one kite I have a 9m and a 12m and happy to buy a 10m. A few words of advice on kite selection would be handy.

Hi,
Egypt used to be my second home before moving to Oz. Marsa Alam is South of Hurghada and during April and May you get 5 out of 7 days with winds getting about 15 to 20 knots. Best time for Egypt is August and September where I'd only need a 8m.

Thanks bro, as I am a wee bit heavier (fatter) than you I might be fine taking my 9m, I am sure Bastien will try to sell me something new when I get back. Do you know how long the trip from the lagoon to the islands takes (round trip)?

Not sure, spent most of my time in Hurghada, try get up there if you can. The guys at Colona Watersports are great.
