Hey

Just wondering if Ben Winding is planning on heading to this years nationals.

If for some reason he isnt, i think we need to start harassing him as nominations are due at the end of this month.

If there is a money problem, how bout getting SAKSA and the members to give a helping hand.

I would like to see SA up there on top

I am not sure if Ben is entering or not ? I am sure that Slingshot would help him if money was an issue. Ben is not a member of SAKSA - he might be joined up with AKSA, but unless he is a member of an affiliate of AKSA he is not eligible.

Let's hope he does go though- awesome rider and a great guy...

i hope you guys are fully aware of just how talented a rider that ben is?
he would have placed top 3 in the uk pro series without a doubt judging from the 2 sessions i saw him ride - the only other rider down under i witnessed on the east coast was off the scale - i later discovered hes placing top 10 on the world cicuit now!!!

put s.a. on the map and get him supported - i never had the pleasure of seeing andrew rats son ride but i heared he is outstanding too

its nice to hear positives on the forum - i read time to time whats happening and it saddens me how much of the good work by a few members of the saksa committee seems to go by often taken for granted by some of the negatives - keep the soul burning and keep the aggression and underhand tactics on a forum firmly in the garbage pool

ride safe

If Ben is not a member of SAKSA where does he usually ride as he obviously doesn't ride at Henley or Largs?

I thought SAKSA had an arrangement with the City of Port Adelaide Enfield as follows:

The City of Port Adelaide Enfield: There is only one zone within this council area that allows kitesurfing and it requires that a permit is in place to kite surf there. SAKSA has a permit from the Council and all its members are covered accordingly.

If your not a SAKSA/AKSA member can you kite at Largs without messing things up?

yep...I'm not a member of SAKSA and kite there all the time. Can't speak for Ben, but i'm guessing he knows his way around largs..
