This is my first season of kiting, and I've just lost my kite buddy to Japan. Damn him.
I'm at the stage where I can get up on the board and cruise along before crashing off a wave. I'm hoping to find someone of a similar level to continue learning with. I'm quit happy to rock up to a beach and get some help from whoever is around, but my wife won't let me go unless I have someone watching my back.
Is there anyone else at this level looking to meet up?
If you live in Seacliff/Brighton, that'd even better for car pooling, but anywhere's fine. I tend to go to the Chicken Shop mostly.

Hi mate.
Similar deal for me. Got lessons, bought gear. Just starting to get up on the board now but haven't gone more than about 5m yet! Would be great to have someone to go out with.
I live at Prospect so don't get down to the southern beaches and have only been Henley and Largs a couple times.
Kicker is I'm only really able to find time on weekends, and not the next few due to other commitments (why does everyone seem to have weddings and birthdays around this time of year!!??)
If your still keen in a few weeks I'd be happy to come out.

If you have both had lessons most of the regulars will look out for you- come down the beach and introduce yourself and just ask someone to keep a bit of an eye on you, riding with more experienced riders will help you progress too- pm me your phone numbers if you want and I will msg you the next time I am going out on a good day. More than happy to keep an eye out for you.
