Paris Hilton rushed to the aid of a distressed Oompa Loompa at the weekend when a Hilton crowd rushed the stage in the middle of a performance.

Paris was rekindling her romance with former flame Stavros Niarchos before the overly hyped audience stormed the Hilton nightclub stage.



The crowd trampled all over pint-sized performer Travis Murphy, who suffered severe cuts and bruises to his legs.


Paris - reportedly a good friend of Murphy's - made sure the performer got a golden ticket straight to hospital.

"I was with Paris," lawyer Mike Heller told The Sun.

"Paris stayed back at the event when she heard that he was injured, to make sure he was okay.

"She was very concerned with his health - she didn't leave until she knew that he was okay."

Murphy was performing at Hilton 'My Bar' nightclub with two other Oompa Loompas at the time of onslaught.

The 26-year-old heiress had reportedly been spending time with Murphy out of sympathy for his smallness before the show.

Earlier Paris rocked the Henley shopping district by racking up a $23,000 bill during a 30-minute drinking and eating spree at the city's Ramsgate Hotel

"Paris bought about 10 Jaga Bombs, six Coronas, 33 blocks of Cadbury chocolate and 30 Cowboys Shooters without anything on, all for the poor little Oompa Loompa" a witness said.
