Port Adelaide council are up to there tricks again. There was a story in yesterdays Advertiser about introducing a permit scheme to kitesurf. They also have an online poll so take a minute and vote to save your beaches.

BEACHGOERS are being threatened with a $200 fine for "harnessing the wind" without council permission.

yes I know there was another post but I thought the online poll was worth mentioning again. The beach cricket ban was removed due to numerous letters of complaint. The permit to kite could go the same way. Is there any way to set up a petition to get all our signatures. Or all the beaches could go the same way. Yes it was me on page two. Have you any idea how hard it is to fly a kite in no wind. The photographer was kind of cute though.
