Hi guys,
I am also new to kiting and was thinking that I was alone on this part of the planet with regards to kiting.
I was originally from Port Pirie and have holidayed in Pt broughton / Fishermans Bay for around 40+ years.
Recently,(on my way to my shack at fishermans Bay)I scoured the coast from North Beach at Wallaroo through to Fisherman Bay logging spots for kiting.
The only points I could add to "Skylimit" would be:
The southern end of the Broughton bay would be good at higher tides but the winds may be flukey, also I could not see any really good landing areas in this part of Broughton.

A small sandy beach 5km north of Tickera (browns beach I think).

Webling point (further west on the gulf) 5 km from Pt. broughton, this is again, tidal but has sand rather than shellgrit and less rocks.

The "other side" of Fishermans Bay (the coast leading north from the bay).
I have catamaranned & sailboarded for many years at Fishermans Bay and find the winds are gusty in the bays.
The good points for Webling, "The Other side", Germain and Telowie is the flat (minimal swell, no surf) water with very open fetches of onshore wind from Nth thru West to south.
Hopefully I will be able to catch up with you northerly flyers at some stage as I had limited options as a lone kiter in this area.
