WindSup will be holding a Ride Day Sunday the 4th of December at Pt Hughes on Yorke Peninsula.

WindSup will have all the school equipment available and Instructors on hand for Windsurfing, Kiteboarding and Stand Up Paddle.

The idea is that if you are at that beginner to intermediate stage of learning and want some guidance and help with things like setting up your gear correctly, getting into the foot straps, doing your first transition, doing your first down winder on a Sup and just to have some one around you for the day that is looking after you, this is the day for you.

The other really cool thing is you get to meet others who are at a similar stage to you.

We encourage experienced riders to come and meet the newbies of our sports, give them some tips and share some stories. Plus there is nothing better than the stoke of a newbie after they have just nailed something new.

Schedule: Sat arvo - make your way to Port Hughes and set up camp at Pt Hughes Caravan Park
Sat Night -Dinner at the Pt Hughes Tavern
Sun Morning - Bacon and egg Breakfast at Pt Hughes Caravan Park and days briefing
The rest of Sunday - get out and RIDE!!!!

Prices: $25 pp for accommodation (tents) and Breakfast
$50 pp If you have your own gear and ride all day and want an instructor to watch over you
Sups and other equipment are available for hire during the day (Contat Matt to Book your gear)
FREE if you are experienced rider and just want to come along and meet some new crew

Yea, come up on the Sun Morning, I'll be organising the day with what everyone wants to do with what the wind is forcast.

Last trip the forecast was for wind in the arvo with it being fairly light in the morning. So we did begginer Windsurf lessons for the kids and couple of the ladies, The boys and the kiters went for a sup till lunch time then after lunch all had a go at getting out on the water. ( the wind Gods didnt quite play nice) So we didnt get going as well as what we wanted but I think all had fun.

If you have your own gear $50 for us to watch over you and help you with things and if your gear dosnt suit the conditions you can hire any of our kit (sups, Kites, Boards)

Its just a social and relaxed day and we try and do something for everyone.

A good start time is about 9:30 for the organising of the day and 10:00 for a start on the water
