Have had alot of south easterlies lately, and have noticed that when the seabreeze kicks in along the Adelaide coast, the wind will generally be southerly at most beaches, but North Haven beach has a true south westerly, backed up by the BOM readings and the webcam. My question is, does anybody kite North Haven in SW winds, or is it better to kite at the beaches further south? As an example, a couple of days ago, it was 15-20kts ESE at Adelaide Airport at four o'clock in the afternoon, while North Haven was SW at 20-25kts.

I've kited there a few times in S-SW. If it's directly SW it can be pretty onshore due to the beach angle, but the wind tends to remain stronger there even when it drops off at Largs (if it goes S or SE in the evening).
In my limited sessions there it can still get gusty once it's gone S or SE with fluctuating wind direction becomming an issue. Still kiteable but not as enjoyable.
