Could anybody tell me if Robe wind forecast for this friday (tomorrow) is suitable for a beginner??
Starting to ride, pretty short tacks...

I'm thinking about going to the robe classic and spend all friday day, party and then leave on saturday :D however, I don't want to drive 4 hours to Robe from Adelaide to find out that it is not suitable for a rookie like me :P
Is the SUP and other events on tomorrow?

Hi GJ,
Robe is going to be pretty windy tomorrow.

It will be doable with a small kite around 2nd ramp (where you drive onto the beach)

3rd ramp will be a hand full for a learner, expecting a pretty big shore break.
I would think it's going to be very lumpy out the back.

Lake Geroge at Beachport would be a better bet.

Wouldn't be surprised if they move the comp at Beachport when it turns westly.
Beachport would suit more so than Robe tomorrow.

Best of luck

It says "gale warning" on the BOM site... 30-35 knots in the afternoon.
Definitely not for beginners.

30 to 35 knots, now we are talking. Combine that with a big swell this will really sort the men out from the boys. Cant bloody wait!
