Hi all,

I'm not new to kiting, but total noob in being able to find the time to get out for a sesh these days.

I'm seeking lessons/instruction/advice on the following:

- Business case to present to my manager at work that time spent kiting during office hours will be to the benefit of the business;

- Excuses to my footy coach that playing Saturday's when there is a winter front due to hit is a waste of time. How can you possibly kick goals if its blowing 25+ kts...;

- How to accrue brownie points with the cook so I can seek leave for kiting;

- Reputable nannies, or incentives for grandparents to look after the kids while kiting;

- Medicine or equipment which will prevent feet and hands from freezing in ice cold conditions;

I think the above covers most of the issues I face. No doubt if the above can be solved there will be no wind.

HAHA - thats GOLD, feel your pain.... kinda!

- Boss lets me finish work at 1pm
- Don't play football as this cuts into kiting/SUPing time
- Arrange to look after the grom so the wife can go to the gym during the week in the evening (its too dark to kite at this time anyway) which makes kiting during the weekend easier
- Its not that cold here..... Kite in Europe during their winter!!!

Hope this helps

Keeping hands warm,

Dish washing gloves.

Try it before you bag it.

Dish washing gloves hey, they wouldn't stand out in a crowd. Might have to wear a shower cap too!

Well I think footy's done after today, think I prefer kitesurfing injuries than footy ones.

Anyone know where you can hire a good doppelgänger locally?

Hang up the boots you have played a few games now and have booked your spot on the footy trip.

I hope that gear isn't too expensive. Think I'll go with whatever's chaper out of the dishwashing gloves and cans of TUP.

Can you get TUP from internet suppliers like ebay, it might be cheaper than through the shops?
