Hi guys,
As you may or may not know- the Adelaide kite festival is on this weekend. The last day is tomorrow, and as well as being able to kitesurf from the semaphore jetty, you can come down and show everybody what the sport is about. It looks like a decent breeze may be in, so come down around lunch and register to be able to show the public a cool side of kite flying- it would be great to get a group of guys and girls down to represent the sport

Hi Gippy,
Thanks for the invite. Did you get any kiters along? Many of us were in Robe for the comp down there but I think there were a few kiters who stayed back in town.
Give us a heads up a little earlier next year and we might be able to help you drum some support up. Might be able to find a few crew who are staying in Adelaide who might be interested in showing their tricks off.
Happy Easter!

Hi Jordan,
We ended up getting a few people out on the water late Sunday- phil was out there in the light breeze throwing some spins- and I was taking everyone through a pretty good highlight reel of crashes.
I think it would be great to have a kitesurfing demo next year- Mick kitesurfs himself so I think he'd be all for it as the event organizer. Personally, I think it's a great opportunity to present the sport to a large bunch of people and put on an even bigger show than what it was. Still a great weekend all round, an hope robe was as fun as it sounded.
Cheers, chris (gippy)

Hi Chris,
I have to confess, I just realized we did have an article in the last Saksa newsletter do we did get it out there a little bit for you.
Let's see if we can push it harder for you next year anyway. Glad it was a success in the end!
Cheers
Jordan.
