A SHARK spotted near Grange beach forced an evacuation of swimmers from the water, in the seventh shark sighting at metropolitan beaches in a fortnight.

The 2-3m bronze whaler was spotted by helicopter about 12.30pm and water police are in the area.

The shark warning siren was sounded and the animal is believed to be swimming out to sea.
There is no immediate danger to life.

Today's sighting follows a string of shark spottings in South Australian waters this week.

Surf Life Saving South Australia ramps up its shark watch campaign over summer as more swimmers head to the beach and sharks migrate north to search for food.

Yesterday, a 15-foot shark was spotted by a boat 6kms off West Beach.

One of three shark sightings on Wednesday terrified swimmers and forced the temporary evacuation of Henley Beach.

In another sighting, a shark was reported swimming in waters near Penneshaw on the eastern tip of Kangaroo Island about 4.30pm on Wednesday afternoon

Another sighting was recorded a few hours later at Grange.

Sharks are cool they keep the kooks out of the watter which leavs more room for me

There are some simple rules to follow when kiting with sharks.

1. look after your wallet, they may try anything to get your cash

2. Sharks are curious they may have just come in to see what you can do so unhook and go big. Allthougth a poor performance may be severly attacked.

3. If being attacked remember to stop drop and roll?..........yeah i think thats right

if anyone needs any other advice on sharks just ask as i am always willing to help out.

If you think about it you are in more danger driving to the beach than in the water.
And remember Sharks are every where..... Financial advisers, car yards, selling houses, servicing your car, driving taxi's etc.....

A Phobia is not a Rational fear!! Therefore thinking about it does not really help!!
