I was flying into Adelaide the other day and was looking out the plane window at the lower Coorong thinking how good all the little flat water channels looked .
Has anyone done a trip down the far end to try it out

I have kited on the lower Coorong near Meningie. Its possible and the conditions are usually good but I would not recommend it because of the many rocky outcrops and the salinity level of the water is so high it stings your skin as soon as you touch it!
The mouth is the best place to go
