going to try get there at 9am (if the NW is in) myself but would rather be otu there with some crew in those conditions trying out the new 8m

Did you come in because of the lightning, the wind or the darkness? I had 40 minutes of aweso
e kiting at the wall with my 13 all alone in the morning and about 2hrs of marginal stuff. Fk it was silky smooth behind those rocks and good whole it lasted. Dropped my kite Out near the end behind the wall. I reckon I drifted for 15 minutes downwind away from the wall until I picked up enough breeze down low to relaunch.. Horrible! LOTS of wind shear there

I think the end of the wall is the worst place to drop your kite... this photo was taken there a couple of years back...

does no one recall the poor lad taken a couple hundred metres off henley.

the buggers are always out there.

Yes yes last week's efforts were poor on the part of the wind gods...

tomorrow is forecast to be good so i'm going to head out again and see how burnt i can get. fingers crossed for some glassy goodness.
