Had a good session on North Beach at Wallaroo today with several others, I'm a local and the other guys on vacation. As I was leaving the beach I saw someone setting up down the southern end, for those who don't know the beach its several k's long and the south end is the most popular with swimmers and day trippers. Todays public holiday meant there was probably 100 cars on the south end of the beach and no more than a dozen on the north end when I left.

Kicking myself that I didn't let the guy know that MOST that kite there kite the northern end away from the crowd.

Not sure what sort of a session he had but some local knowledge that when the wind has swung as s/w as it had when he was going out means that end of the beach is pretty **** with interference from the breakwater, marina hotel, silos jetty etc and the northern end is much cleaner wind.
