HI all,

I was at henley beach yesterday around 3 and i went for a kite and when i came back my bike and kite bag got stolen. I know there was a guy with a red North rebel, just wondering if anyone saw anything I was the fella with the gold and green fuel kite. And if not keep your eye out for a slingshot bag and pump which was also stolen. Not too concerned about the bike cause its insured but i really want my bag and pump back. The label on the pump has been week and looks heaps old.

Any info would be great.

Dave.

Spewing to hear about your stuff getting stolen. Where abouts was your bike and gear parked when it got taken. Hopefully your gear will appear somewhere soon.

Hearing a few people getting stuff stolen, I thought I might mention a weird incident I had a month ago. I had a Friday arvo session at Semaphor (the carpark next to the Semaphor sailing club - white building). After a session, I walked my sail to the grass. Walked back and got my board, then walked up the foot path (going a different way - ended up down wind a bit), I noticed a guy checking out my sail and then looking out towards the sea. He was looking at it for a minute, Walking around it, then looking out etc. He looked up and saw me and looked away quickly. He then walked to the other side of the car park and laid down propped up on his elbow. I started packing up and looked at him. He was laying their looking at me. Young guy, tanned/olive skin, baby face. I kept on eye on him with my perpherial. At that stage, car park was empty. Two guys pulled up a few car parks down with some tea. The guy then gets up and walks back to a White 80's Commodore. Another guy was sitting in the drivers seat. Saw them talking for a while for 10 or so minutes. They then drove out of the car park and away. Rego plate is KBR-444 (or something like that). It was all a bit dodgy.

I was right next to the torrens river mouth at the far end. My conselation is that the bike has a really dodgy pedal that if you pedal too hard it falls off and then you pretty much smash your chest on the handle bars and maybe some balls. So, im very comforted by the fact that this may very well happen to this person and boy what a joy it would be to watch.

They stole everything but( including my sunscreen) but left my screw driver...
