Planning to be in Whyalla in May.Question is?is it worth bringing the 12m just in case it blows?????.Will be packing the surfboard.Only taking one so maybe, someone will have a twinny to loan?? Be good to catch up with the Kiting Crew but from my memory Easter is the end of the wind for windsurfing.Thats not too say that there were plenty of days you could kite. Will also be packing the wettie thats been packed away for so long,so the cold won't be a problem.Anyone got the stats for May?Hopefully get to see more of the WF film collection.
Wind'sup in May see you there.EB

Easter is fairly much the end of the reliable seabreeze but there is the odd change that will bring a bit of wind. We seem to get more northerly winds that as you know you cant kite in whyalla, but if you travel down to cowell or further south depending on forcast it is could be worth packing your gear. Most crew in whyalla dont kite in the winter. but if its on i may see you down there.

EB,
Would be good to catch up when you are in town.
I am currently holidaying on the Gold Coast, no wind, and really bad surf at the moment. Whyalla had wind when I left, but as usual I expect that it will disappear by the end of the month. Bring your 12, you never know what fronts might come through. I'm sure we could find a twin tip for you if needed.
See you soon.

Cheers

Cheers will definitely bring the 12 will be getting excess baggage with the little fellas kit coming as well.Be a load with car seat, pram, surfboard 12m etc.But if you don't go with all the gear it is guaranteed to blow. Travelling over to Elliston with Shoeey for a surf trip while I am in town so the 12 could come in handy with some strapless surf at Walkers or Sheringa.
Here is hoping for a windy May,still getting out here most days had a couple of 8m sessions this week.

Just got back from the Gold Coast, no wind for 2 weeks, waves were mega for the last few days, 4m up the face barrels at Burleigh, way past my level of skill!!!
Hopefully it will blow in Whyalla over the next few days before I have to go back to work.

The weather map looks the goods for you 1st of the fronts.Let me know how it goes.Thinking of packing the 8 in the same bag as the 12.The wind continues to crank here with a solid 3 hr session in 25knots and good swell last night.
