Any chance we can keep to our own forum lads, seems a bit rude for us to trash the windsurfers forum. 99.9999% of the windsurfers were awesome when we had our comp and a few kiters are giviong 99.999% of kiters a bad reputation as they keep thread jacking and slinging sh#t.

I have been involved with the windsurfing comps and they are a cool bunch of people and a few kiters are making us look really bad by wrecking their survey and what not.

Grow up lads, you know who you are, so we can all ride together and actually have fun. We've got a few rotten eggs amoungst us, as do they, but don't publicly cause a sh#t fight when we know the entire population of windsurfers bar 2 did a great job at giving us our day in the sun.

Please correct me if i'm wrong Chops but this has all come about since the state titles. Unfortunately the disrespect of mainly one windsurfer towards the kiting group has opened a can of worms that needs to be closed. If you read any of the forum post regarding the incident, the response from some other windsurfers was, (QUOTE) best waveriding going on was TIMMY sailboarding amongst the kiters at Seaford, Timmy won the state kite boarding open mens world championship on a windsurfer, with an attitude like that next time its on the other twenty that were out might just head down to where the waves were lining up the best on the coast, YOU REALLY SHOULD LIGHTEN UP GEOFF,this is light hearted banter in the windsurfing forum, Not law so build a bridge AND GET OVER IT ! As i said in a previous thread, respect has to be earned and not demanded. After reading those comments, it's not surprising people are taking a few cheap shots. But saying that, 2 wrongs don't make a right. People need to start respecting each other again and move forward like adults, kitesurfers and windsurfers. I'm sorry Chops but i believe the finger you are pointing is mainly in one direction which i believe is unfair.

So respect each other in the water and on the forums. Don't f#%k around with either group survey's, as volunteers have to sort through them in their own personal time which they donate for the future of thier sport in the state.

We all particapate in our chosen sport for fun and we must all remember that. Respect each other on the water and we will all benefit from it. Happy riding on the sea, which ever way you chose.
