Come down to Largs bay today between 11 and 5 and take a look at the range of boards from Naish, North and Cabrinha. There will be one in there to suit you. Most boards are pretty light now. Naish do a ladies board as do the others.
I've recently purchased a North Select. They are made in Austria from the most high tech lightweight carbon fibre and are lighter than most other boards out there.
