soooo is it going to be too windy tomorrow morning down henley beach for a 55kg beginner riding a 7m kite? 18 knots i think...i think i know the answer but its my dayyyy offfff and im basically having a general winge to whoever will listen. what is the recommended knot speed to learn in? (ive had 3 lessons and have my own gear) p.s. is anyone kiting these days? every time i go down to check it out no one is there (but the weather hasnt been the best i suppose).

Kitebug, winter fronts are not good for learning because the wind can change from "comfortable" 15-20 knots to double that speed in a matter of minutes (sometimes seconds).

Ideal wind for learning would be 15-20 knots.
Unfortunately in winter good learning days are rare, but they do happen - yesterday (Sunday) would have been good.
