Dislocated my shoulder for the 2nd time in 2 years on saturday paddeling out for a surf.
I will be hittin Maui in 11 weeks for a planned kite trip.

Has any1 had shoulder issues and had to strap up/brace?
If so any braces or advise for strappin?

Mate, as a long time dislocee you probably know as we'll as I do that straight after you pop it again the only thing that is going to help is keeping your arm out of trouble as much as you can before you go there. I had ice and electro therapy on it once and my recovery time went down to a couple of weeks but usually it's six weeks of nursing if I let it come out. Physio is not a bad idea.

Six weeks? Damn!

Dean I havnt kited for 7 weeks, I did mine at the cable park. It's been 7 weeks I've got an MRI next week and I'm looking at 4 months after surgery, about 8 of that in a sling. If the scan comes back ok hopefully I'll be back soon I don't wanna miss the westerlies.

Big Troy, hope all is well. Didn't know you did your shoulder. Not Good. I got out of hospital 4 days ago after a knee recon. Not Good. Speak soon or see you on the beach at KFC watching the lads shred.
