My 15yo son is a wakeboarder and has had about 12 hours of kiteboarding lessons (elsewhere), still a beginner obviously, but he has impressed his coaches with his skills so far. Does anyone have kids of a similar age that kiteboard or if there are any clubs sunny coast local to get involved with?

Noosa Adventure Sports is probably the people to talk to for hooking up with locals, or just rock up to the river mouth when it's windy and see who's about.

Personally I think finding a kite buddy that's super keen is a big step toward fast progression, so keep up the search.

Hi Manny, what wind direction and tidal movement works best at Noosa? Where do you usually launch from

You won't get a better offer than this Bingley.....

Manny and his brother are a couple of young chargers from the sunny coast, that I am sure will be an inspiration for ur son.

Hopefully see the boys in action again at the NKL this month!

Run out tide + North - North East wind works best. Launch from the sand bar next to the rock wall, plenty of room at the moment.
