I'm keen on doing my first downwinder soon. I'm able to kite upwind (I know not really a requirement) and I'm independant. Would anyone with a bit more experiance care to let us tag along on the next one?

Yeah I'm keen for sure. I've got to head out of town for a few days for work but I'll be back late next week. I've hacked around a little bit in knee-waist high beachies but not really waves per se. I'll maybe look for a day with little swell and mellow(ish) wind.
I'm about 96kgs and I've got 7/10/12m kites. I can hold down an edge on the 10m in like 25 and heavy chop no problem. One benefit of being a fat bastard.
