Hey guys, I am traveling to Sydney, Austrailia on 24 Sep for a week of work, and have extended my travel until 12 Oct to take advantage of the opportunity.

Tentative plan is to travel north from Sydney up the coast to kite a couple different locations. My preference is medium waves. I'd like to keep costs low by camping and making use of hostels and buses. Never been to Aus before so any advice on spots to check out/stay would be much appreciated!

Sorry for the re-post but not sure if I put this up in the right section, cheers!

You can get some large lake swell when it hits 30 knots of wind, normally if the water is around 1 meter deep the swell will be around 50cm. Other than that hit the open beaches.

Cheers Rod.

Want to keep costs low? You're going the wrong direction from Sydney. Head south
