Hi All, I've had a few lessons, spent my time on the trainer kite and am at the point where I just need hours in the water. I've stood up on the board, but not for long. I've been procrastinating for 12 months now, every time I go to head out I get psyched out due to being on my own. I'm not really good at just approaching random people on the beach and asking for a launch either. I'm sure there are others in a similar situation. I'm located at North Lakes, but pretty happy to meet anywhere from Noosa to the Tweed. Wherever there is a good newbie spot with some stable wind. I'm 25 btw....not sure if that matters or not.
