Virgin blue have got some good fares (around $550 return ) around that time .See the previous fiji wave hookup threds for more details on accom,conditions ,cost.

yes I have but VB at $550 its worth putting out the feelers .Yes it is generally still windy then .Gee you don't miss much .Did you see the Thredbo thread?

gonna have to bail on this one .Brownie points definitely exhausted .Taking Amanda to Leonard Cohen around that time now (earn more brownie points

I will leave it up here though because it is a great spot and I would be happy to help with any info for a group going over if they wish to (no matter how big or small)
