I'm thinking of taking a drive up to Woolgoolga in the next day or so, to kite in what i remember was good in southerlies back in my sailboard days. (rest of week forecast for ssw- sse maybe?)

Can anyone provide me more info regards things like...
What wind directions work ?(only really interested in cross or cross off)
Does it handle big swell (given multiple days of southerly coming)?
Does it need big swell to work? ie: if the average beach break in the area is say 4-6 ft, what size would Flat rock be etc?
Are there any locals or regular sailors or kiters that frequent Woolgoolga Flat rock on any given windy day? (I'd prefer not kiting on my own in potential big conditions... )

thanks
