Rosebud was blowing not less than 17knots yesterday. Today looks similar or even better. If anybody is heading down there and able to give me a lift I will be happy to bear the whole trip expenses.

Did it get up to 20 knots down there?

The south channel marker made it look good, was it?

It was pretty solid 15-20 knots at Brighton for most of Sunday. It didn't look windy because it was mostly overcast but when the sun came out you could see the whitecaps. I had a fairly big 2.5 hour session riding between Brighton, Pt Ormond and Green Point.

You pretty well need to take 5 knots of the SC reading for a better reading of whats happening at Rosebud. The wind reading device is situated 15 mts above sea level on the marker.

Also check the wind readings from the Blairgowrie Yacht club

Yes, SC normally reads extra 5 knots but on Monday for once SC marker reading was fairly accurate. I was on a 9m edge well powered up. I'd say it was around 18-20. I was out between 10 and 12.

Awesome day!
