Hey, I'm currently looking to add lighter wind kite to my 2013 7m switchblade. I have so far used a 2010 10m rebel but I'm getting rid of it now. I feel i have progressed past beginner level and like to boost it for big airs, but want to get into a bit more technical stuff (loops and unhooked) with a kite that has alright performance in the waves.
I have recently tried the 2014 10m Naish Park but was a bit disappointed by the low end performance. Wind was fairly strong, it felt like I could have gone out on the 7m SB, yet on the 10m Park I felt underpowered. I liked the responsiveness but have a feeling that the step from the 7m SB to a 10m Park might be too small when relying on two kites only. Getting a 11m park seems like a huge gap between the kites though. Any thoughts?

personally im not a big lover of interchanging brands, or models, imo it stunts progression especially at an early or earlier stage, when advanced id say its ok, just my personal views and watching others, theyve not gone forward as quick as others, same goes with boards ie switching from tts to mutants or surboards, master what youve got, good for your riding and wallet

Depends on your weight - I would go for a 11 or 12 Switchblade - they have really good range IMO

Cheers guys. appreciate the replies. I'll stick with the SB. 7 & 10 should get me going on most days given the grunt of the SB
