To all the kiters out at Pinaroo about 5:30pm Friday arvo (and the 2 old fishermen on the beach), I offer my apologies if I scared the crap out of you after screaming in exultation at getting my first 20m carve without face planting.

And to those same kiters, I also offer my thanks. As I was flailing around in the water trying to figure out consistent power through the zone, upwind water launches etc.. everyone was very accomodating and kited around me, with some words of advice here and there as they flew past....It is much appreciated.
As a kid learning to surf, it was a sh!t environment because there were too many egos out in the water and way too much attitude. It may be just kids at that age or it may be the sport, i dunno but either way I hope kiting stays the way it is!
See you all out there again on Tuesday hopefully! Listen for the cheers beneath a 12m Convert as I get 30m or 40m this time
