Had only just gone out around 3.30 in arvo and dropped my kite in the piss, inverted with a fitth line wraparound. Shizen. Punched out onto the safety to try and sort the mess and relaunch then SNAP goes the safety. Deep shizen. I'd already ditched my board so lay back to watch my kite head swiftly downwind towards Perth city. Was loudly saying goodbye to both and thinking how much a new kite and board were gonna set me back when in swoops old mate, drops on my kite and holds for me till I get there. Legend. Then he goes back for my board and drops that on the beach as well. Farkin Legend. Caught up on beach and all offers of beer, wine and a reacharound were politely declined. Good bloke!! Thanks mate!
