Planning my first downwinder this weekend with a mate. Thinking leighton to city beach/floreat. Just wondering if there's anything I should know before heading out. We're both 'improvers'.. staying upwind most of the time but needing the odd walk of shame. Starting to nail transitions more consistently, still missing a fair few.
Dry bag for car keys, do we need anything else??
Any safety things to be worried about on that route? (I know the barracks is a no land zone)
