Hey all

A group of us are heading up North early January. Just wondering if anyone's got some good tips of places to kip (particularly free:)) and kite.

If there's any book anyone can recommend or just wisdom that'd be greatly appreciated. We've got about 2 weeks to get to Exmouth and back (ride back is prob just going to be pedal to the metal)

Cheers and Blue skies..I mean good gusts or something

Matt

Sandy bay in Exmouth is a magical location. You can camp 500 metres from the beach in a place called Osperay Bay(check spelling). Cost is about $8 per night and you pay upon entry into the national park.

Sandy bay is protected by a reef which provides excellent flat water kite boarding.

Sandy bay is 75kms from Exmouth

hey guys,
for a bit of flat water,
you might be happy to sleep hidden in the dunes south of the jetty at port gregy (GREGORY) for the none 1st edition kitestockers. it s west of the pink lake from the road to kalbarri. if you fancy something a bit more confi, lynton farm, 5 min, is a good and cheap place to stay at.
might be heading up north, early jan, so see you around maybe, have a good trip, safe kiting, rv.
