I'm looking to buy a few items out of the 2010 ION catalogue. I sent and email to the only shop that advertizes that they sell ION and they didn't get back to me. I'm away at the moment but if anyone knows of a shop that stocks their stuff can you let me know.

I know it's usually distributed along with North but I CBF emailing every North retailer in WA.

Thanks
Josh

Hi Apatheticend,

I am a North retailer and can get a hold of ION stuff for you, but we don't stock it. I don't think anyone stocks ION in Perth. If you know what you need, give me a call.

Cheers,

KH

It wouldn't happen to be an XL (6', 44", 36") would it? I'll have to order one but i'm not willing to splash out on it not knowing if it will fit well.

I got my Ion Strike Overknee 4/3 the other day. It fits perfectly and looks really good. It's not the 2010 version, I think it's 08/09. It's built really well and has some really nice kite specific features. Perfectly placed little pads on the lower ribs to soften the blow from the top of your harness. The lower torso is made of a really cool grippy neoprene to keep the harness from riding up. The knee is ruggadized and there is some extra padding in the knee/shin to add a bit of protection from board hits. The fit in the arms is a little roomier than most I've seen since kiters use their forearms more than surfers.

It's looks really good quality for the price of $399. Paul @ WA Surf ordered this on in for me and said there was obligation if it didn't fit right. He was good enough to let me pick it up from his house in town to save me a drive to Saftey Bay.

I haven't been able to test it in the water yet but I was sweating my ass off just from trying it on.
