We will be in Geraldton from the 13th to 20th of February and we would like to go one day kitesurfing to Abrolhos Island, anybody can give us some tips on:

- how to go there?? charter, or boat??
- best beach to kite
- any other good information

Thanks
Rocco

On a good day on a very fast boat.

It wouldn't be worth the effort for a day trip IMO.
Also it is not an Island, it is heaps of Islands in several different groups spread over about 100k's, with very few beaches and very challenging conditions.

not really . it took us just over 2 hours on a 50 foot cray boat in 2 metre swell .

But i agree it is not worth it to go for one day .

We stayed on the pelsart group
